I mean if you're already familiar with Outkast and Players Anthem then jump right into UGK's discog that's a must when it comes to southern rap. Start with the classic Ridin' Dirty, personal favorite is the double LP Underground Kingz but that might be a too much on first listen lol

That might be one of the best hooks in rap I've ever heard, it's so flashy and infectious, man. That and Game Belongs to Me, ever since I heard Pimp C on Big Pimpin' my love for southern rap ain't never been the same. So good, miss that brother one of the few rappers that'll make disrespectful ass lines sound so beautiful lol

Yeah, definitely Krit too. Pretty much all his mixtapes including 4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time are a fantastic listen. One of the best there is imo
