I don't even know why, it's got all the ingredients to be a bona fide classic gibbs album but its only aite imo

Less good than both madlib albums, freddie, shadow of a doubt, maybe even yol2

Kinda feel like it gets gassed up cos freddie is having an extended moment in terms of acclaim and popularity and this was prob the first thing to drop at the peak of both

Yeah it doesn’t live up to the potential of an Alc x Gibbs album whatsoever. It sounds like it was made in a weekend cus it was. Relative to the level of ridiculous projects they’ve both been involved with in the last few years it’s weak in comparison. Boldy collab was so much better on Alc’s end especially it sours the beats on here for me a bit too
