My mom died two years ago due to complications from emphysema and COPD from smoking. In her last couple years of life she was in such terrible agony, it got to the point where I was employed as a caregiver to help with her end of life care. And even after she passed I still kept smoking, that’s how crazy this addiction is. I even kicked a real life opiate addiction and haven’t been able to stop smoking. I tried to donate plasma the other day and they told me my hematocrit was too high, and I’ve now started noticing my tachycardia due to this. I’m so done feeling like s*** all the time, I’m quitting today.
Good looks OP

You’re making the right decision for sure, I’m very sorry for your loss. All the best with your journey, it’s gonna be difficult but 100% worth it
@op Please @ me in one month itt and tell me you’re still about it. Show us what you’re made of.
Also, write down a list for yourself on WHY you quit with smoking, so that you can go back to that when you feel like giving up.
Also please take a quick look at this, it describes the relapse cycle which is really informative. It works pretty much the same for all addictions and I encourage everyone to look at it, so that they are aware of it.

Relapsing is gradual and doesn’t really happen in an instant, like it seems.
Good luck @op! Much love.
