You're right brother, idk it's quarantine and not talking to many right now, and figured to keep in touch with her since we texted like 3 years ago to see how things are going.
I'm not planning to marry anytime soon, but maybe in like 5 years or something when my career been set in stone

I get that for sure, idk about your background but overseas is not a huge issue when there's family and cultural ties. though as people have pointed out, don't let this get in the way of living life and dating where you're at.

Yea of course I'm open to folks in my area too, she's very close culturally and was friends with my relatives. I'll have to give it some time and see where things carry me, but lately I've learned they're 10,000 miles away and I shouldn't let her affect my own thoughts
