I think people are starting to get nostalgic over older Drake releases and have begun to put them on a pedestal, while forgetting there flaws.

Don’t get me wrong, Drake has gotten wayyyyy more consistent, quality wise.

He doesn’t really have bad songs anymore.

But he doesn’t have really amazing songs like he used to before Scorpion, either.
