Tracks 487 304 189 183Drake has more than twice as much songs as Kendrick on DSPs and Kendrick still has more monthly listeners than him currently. From what I know Spotify counts all tracks an artist is credited on. Kendrick is slowly outperforming him since the beef ended it is what is it. That doesn‘t mean Drake doesn‘t have better all time stats nor do I think art quality = numbers, it will also change again when one of them decide to drop an album.

JPEGMAFIAFair point. There's definitely musicians I listen to that drop annually. I wasn't shooting anybody though Kendrick takes his time with his art and it pays off
It seems like they have different approaches to making music, and the other’s method may not necessarily work for the other. Kendrick is more particular and likely doesn’t spend as much time constantly working on music and Drake is more likely to drop everything that gets cooked up and spends a lot of time in the studio (likely to a detriment in other aspects of his life)

Didn’t get into Kendrick until a couple years ago I’ve been following drakes career since he was on degrassi. His music isn’t timeless but it gets the job done for the vibes, but yeah he’s too formulaic I think he should’ve gracefully left after SH3

Strongly disagree I love it when artists take risks. Far from his best work but I love deeply personal music. Also inspired me to seek out therapy to work through my own s***. It's amazing

Spotify considers anyone who listened to a song you’re on within the last 30 days a monthly listener and with how heavily NLU is being pushed and play listed it’s not surprising, look at kendricks and drakes number a year ago up until today and you’ll see Drake has stayed relatively the same Kendrick saw a huge spike which is now starting to fizzle out, just for reference Kendrick lost 100k+ listeners and Drake lost 8k monthly listeners yesterday
