I do think that started a bit before that, he made yeezus faster than any album before it and it was successful so he maybe thought he doesn’t need to be as much of a perfectionist as he had been before? He was also tweaking Pablo last minute and after release. Also the success of Yeezy and his focus on that probably contributed too.
But yeah the quality of music since 2016 has gone down a level, KSG aside

They think so little of the community that they can’t form an educated opinion on who to vote for themselves. In all likelihood Kanye’s presence on the ballot will siphon off young white voters from both candidates rather than black ones.

No person of actual logic is voting for Kanye lmao However, our democracy is long overdue for recalibration and I think Kanye winning, not likely but still, would represent a total ideological and maybe even structural dismantling of American politics, which I’m all for but no one should be celebrating the idea that we are increasingly spiraling towards a future where our political sphere resembles that of a VH1 show about celebrity rehab rather than an actual democracy.
