Im not the most religious person, and honestly JIK isn't one of my favorites from Kanye, but I still enjoyed the albums vibe.Im glad Kanye is in a comfortable enough place to be able to express his faith.

Obviously the album is not gonna rock with everyone, not even the most devout of Kanye stans, but come on,our man is truly happy for the first time in a good ass while, and at the very least Jesus Is King was a test run for his new direction, lets see where it goes before we write him off for the 3rd album in a row (4th if you count Yeezus,im still shook people thought that was a terrible album).

  • Many artists/bands who are past their artistic prime still manage to put out classics or good albums (Rolling Stones, jay z, david bowie, fleetwood mac) and its crazy that people dont see this can also happen for Kanye. I think his creative run ended with Yeezus and from here on out its gonna be more hit or miss
