Also ironically enough i feel like even though that album is ass,if it came out today with the same vocals on some current day beats, some "rage" s*** or whatever, it would probably get a decent reception from certain type of audience

JIK is definitely not amazing, but it’s not bad. I just can’t ignore the musicality he was getting off on there in a new sound and how he expanded his previous eras within that eras sound. But back to you thread topic haha

Ummmmm I wouldn't say he was ahead of the curve in any way... Basically the label said we want to make some dumb music and got him. At the time a lot of rappers blew up for having dumb mannerisms and personality like Lil Pump, Blueface, 6ix9ine. The difference is they had fanbases. No one was really a Lil Xan fan he was unlikable.

The few songs I heard from that Logic album were horrendous
