and kanye loves mc donalds , coincidence
Drake is obsessed with Kanye the way that Kanye is obsessed with Kanye.
YEEZY SHIFTING MUSIC, CLOTHING, ARCHITECTURE, AND AMERICAN BUSINESS ALL AT ONCE. THIS LEGEND JUST NEVER STOPS. HES NOT EVEN COMPARABLE TO DRAKE, WE ARE COMPARING A SUN TO A LAMP.
I'm a huge fan of both but Kanye stans have been doing the f*** Drake s*** even when they weren't beefing lmao this section was so pressed about the potential collab album
This is facts. It's been f*** drake for a minute.

And then we got “Glow” and realized that would’ve been a flop.
2 years after that pile of trash scorpion dropped how are drake stans still going on with that f*** kanye s*** wtf
bruh kanye shifted music like 5 times now
drake has never shifted s*** like oooh he sings n raps, bone thugs did that, pharell did that singing and rapping was alread ya big thing
he made all of hip hop dark after IYRTITL man that album is good but its not monumental or changing s*** he's just riding the trap wave
same with the other good ones drake just took cloud rap and r&b (genres that were big before) and said he made a wave these things were already big
did y'all forget that ye dropped these albums when they werent considered safe genres to mix or what

left foot up
right foot slide
basically im sayin either way be bout to slide
can't let this one slide
also scorpion is pretty alrite. it has some good production and seems like a good record of ... well drake's excess mostly. (iont like side B much) a lot of rap is about bragging anyway; he contributes to that idea. nothin really new aside from some of the production ideas. i think honestly one of the best things bout his music that makes it so listenable is 1) his voice is pleasant, infrequently amazing, but very consistently nice to listen to both when he's rapping n singing, and 2) his songs are almost always mixed really conventionally
kanye hasn't been going for (2) in a while; he experiments a lot w both production styles and mixes. i feel it only makes sense that he'd get more mixed reception than drake, though i personally think ye consistently achieves higher highs. thas just one of the risks/rewards of trying to experiment

Drake really isn't appreciated by his peers. He's just super popular in the mainstream medium atm & makes trendy music.
Kanye on the other hand is widely considered a great & has made timeless records that have pushed the culture into new grounds.
If you're asking me, Aubrey's being a little jealous b****.
With all of that said though, Kanye hasn't wow'd me since "Yeezus". Or made me be like "This dude's the greatest artist of all time" since "MBDTF". He's still a legend no doubt, but he's been dropping vanilla solo efforts as of late.

Well put OP. Kanye was and still is excellent at making the wave. Drake is better (and arguably the best we’ve ever seen) at riding the wave.
I just hate how they beef. They can coexist and can make great music together if they weren’t so childish.
