I’m actually terrified. I left during university but I had loads and other money coming in to sustain me and I could regularly go home and my flat mates were basically my homies

I got a good job in Manchester (UK) so I’m moving there on Friday and I begin work on Monday. My girlfriend of 4 years lives up there but otherwise I don’t have anyone.

Does anyone have any advice ?

How are you as far as managing your bills and finances?

I’m okay. Like I won’t splash on things. I’m awful at food shopping though, I forget to eat because I can’t be bothered to cook or get food. It’s an awful habit man.

I feel you. Stocking up on food and such is often the thing that can take the most getting used to. When I first moved out I literally wasn't sure wtf I was doing with stocking 😂 but tbh if you are good with money management you should be fine. I'd write down all the days your bills are and due and their amounts to keep yourself from falling behind.

But tbh living on your own sounds a lot scarier than it is.

I’m excited that I’m starting my life now but terrified something will go wrong smh
