Antidepressants just mitigate the extreme highs and extreme lows of emotion. Just as you are feeling extreme happiness right now, you just as well may tumble down to the low that made you chose antidepressants in the first place.

I hope you’re doing well, OP. Proceed with caution and make sure to a***yze your behavior over the next couple months to rationalize the decision of getting off meds.
