by who's standard? the world or yours? if you have let yourself down and want to become better, then I feel thay it starts with a plan to become a new you, with methods of improvement where you're weakest and being honest about your flaws.

I'm not really a sociable person and in my opinion there's not a lot of reason you should live your life to make others happy while not being true to you. when everyone else is gone, you'll be the only one that truly knows what's going on in your mind.
and if your greatest accomplishments in the end were all to get validation from others, you will grow to hate yourself even more despite worldly success. its a hard thing to choose you at the expense of relationships but imo most people would choose themselves over you if it came down to money or time in prison or something like that. mapping out your life just to impress others is living in a prison with no bars
