It’s probably the most rarest type of Drake we’ve gotten if you were to divide his catalog into sub genres

It only treads 3 or 4 tracks and all of them are absolutely unreal

He already sounds comfortable in this bounce type vibe and honestly it works everytime

Could only imagine a 7 or 8 track ep

Drake ruined the perception of this song by his completely tone deaf decision to release it in the middle of his battle with Pusha after he released Duppy. People were expecting a Charged Up into back to Back move again.

Because of that this song is hated so much but it absolutely is a slapper. I love almost everything about. The laidback yet aggressive flow, the memorable / memeable hook that bleeds into equally memorable and instagram caption ready verses. Whole song has a very interesting and unique structure to it. My only critique is that gets a little repetitive at the end so it needed some type of switch up to it. A more traditional long last verse over a beat switch / break down would have really completed the song imo.

Has nothing to do with the beef. It’s a little boring and too repetitive. Sounds like he just was in the studio and wanted to record something chill and laid back.

Problem is there’s nothing exciting about it and it’s not a good enough laid back song like the rest in his catalog. Besides a few lines that would have been on another track with a different flow and delivery, the song is garbage from the structure to the beat to the lyrics lol probably his worst song aside from that el la tipico s***.

He snapped on the flow and bounce

Still probably my least favourite Drake song.

He was coming off an elite 2018 run with Gods Plan and Nice For What as singles for Scorpion then decided to drop this as the last single. I still have no idea why.
