They wouldn't because the nature of the job attracts people that don't want it to change. There's a reason why there are so many MAGA cops.

awesome man. Because in most times of big change that happens. Militarizes usually join the people during times of big change.

Some people join the cops cause they feel powerless or losers and being part of the cops gives them a power high. Thats the ones that do all that s***. The majority doesn’t really care, or they do care but they don’t know how to change s***. Change can’t come from the cops themselves I think. The cops that join the protests are needlessly putting their jobs on the line imo. The only way you can get s*** to change is by having the government sign up for stronger screening. Screen everyone who already is a cop. Have all cops wear huge numbers on them so civilians can report them. You can do that with petitions and marches, not with riots.
