How does that work?

How does a place of eternal happiness work exactly? God just implants in my head that I can't ever feel sad or something?

Infinite unconsciousness seems like the most likely explanation of what happens when you die. Lights out, no more anything. I see no reason to believe in an existential plane of existence. And as a matter of fact all that talk of heaven derives from a time where people needed such things to cope with life and death, which is still true I suppose.

But I find it funny how some ancient beliefs are looked back on and mocked. But Christianity and the like, that survived by forcing others and slaughtering non-believers, is still seen as a totally viable thing.

I was joking with that post but my view is that its like that other poster said, its something beyond comprehension. I can't explain it to you, nobody else ITT can. None of us know, we'll understand when we get there. But I get some of the arguments, how can you truly be happy if you can't think/do what makes you happy? How can heaven be a place of happiness if your mom/dad/kids don't go to heaven and you're there all alone?

I had my doubts about religion. But before I got confirmed, people from my church prayed over me. I felt the holy spirit and forces I can't explain. I was a sceptic and tbh sometimes I still am, but I don't have an explanation for what happened that day other than the Holy Spirit and therefore God is real
