Going to Rolling Loud next week with friends for the weekend but decided to go a few days earlier solo to do some sightseeing and adventure a little
First time visiting LA
Going from Feb 25th to March 7th, staying in South Gate and renting a car. Any cool places that are more catered towards the fashion/hip hop scene?
Def wanna hit up some museums and beaches and hollywood but other than that what are some lowkey places that I would fw?
Never been and dont know specifics but i would personally look up some of the best taco trucks/places

They post some interesting events going on.
George Condo has a new exhibit that just opened up in LA
Fairfax Ave
The Grove
With the snow going on this weekend you might wanna hit up Big Bear
The Pike in LB is kinda chill
LACMA
The Broad if you can find tickets
Try the Vegan food anywhere between Santa Monica and WeHo. LA is about the only place where you will find Vegan food that tastes great and keeps you full.
Drive around Ladera Heights/Windsor Hills/Baldwin Hills. The richest black neighorhoods in the US and prob the world. Go and see it while you can because white gentrification is real and a lot of black folk are selling to move elsewhere.
Drive to Marina Del Rey and then down to Charlie Beach. There are some free parking spots there no tourist knows about and then you can walk along the beach to Venice Beach.
Getty Museum has a beautiful view over LA, parking is $20. If you are willing to drive for a 30+ min, Griffith Park/Observatory is another place and parking is free.
Take the Pacific Coast Highway from Santa Monica to Malibu just for the vibes and drive up to Topanga.
Or drive down Mulholland Drive especially now that it's green because of all the rain.
LACMA is nice, they have exhibits on early computer, modern, Korean and Black Art right now and Tar Pits and Academy museum are right next to them if you wanna hit those up.
Just know everything in LA is far apart, so most of the things I listed can take up half a day, don't go on the highway during rush hour or you're stuck, and keep an eye on the weather forecast because there's gonna be a lot of rain, and when it's raining you're better off sticking to activities that are nearby but LA is full of things to do.
oh and save up for gas because south gate is on the east side and everyone itt is telling you about spots on the westside
The beach is a must if you’re into that type of stuff.
A pool can never compare to the fun of swimming in the ocean
oh and save up for gas because south gate is on the east side and everyone itt is telling you about spots on the westside
And every penny spent on gas is worth it to get the hell out of South Gate.

it’s Eros!!!
I got a good day of events planned out, usually what I do on a Sunday.
Visit dover street, hop on over to h Lorenzo archive, hit up the row since bodega is there and if it’s a Sunday there are tons of food trucks and vendors, go to little Tokyo and check out the shops, 3sixteen, and then visvim. There is also a few galleries nearby and also olvera street is close by. Haven’t been there to eat in a while since I’m vegan now but lots of Mexican food. My family loves going there to this small stand that sells taquitos, it’s super good.
