Do you have any friends or family there? Or have you been there for NY before? Trying to understand the thought process

My friend is currently on a secondment there through her work & invited me. She’s been there a few weeks. I’m looking for something to do with her on NYE. We’re both from London and in London you avoid the big clubs, take transport and find something local

She has her own list from her NY colleagues. So if anyone who is from NY knows anything better than Joyface let me know

Then I’d go somewhere you can get a good view of the city and enjoy the fireworks over some drinks

I’d say go to a nice restaurant to enjoy a meal over the turn of the hour but I’m assuming the good ones are gonna be either closed or packed
