It's nearly impossible tbh. Most of these "marketing agencies" are pyramid companies or guru hotshots selling Obama phones.

A ton of marketing job listings are scams. Hard to break into unless you already know people who work for a company that’s hiring

If job description is super vague or sounds too good to be true. If they get back to you immediately i.e. you reach out to ask a question or submit an application and they’re trying to schedule an interview within a few minutes.
Idk you can normally feel it out with some critical thinking, exchanges that don’t have a certain degree of professionalism or diligence are normally hiding something like they might say it’s a marketing position but it’s actually door-to-door sales
