Boring and ugly
Loved this.
Great to see the greatest action hero of all time back in action
It doesn't feel like the other Indy movies and I don't think it was supposed to, trying to emulate them would have resulted in Crystal Skull 2. I hate Shia but doing that to his character was just foul.
Expected to dislike Phoebe but she was pretty good as well, way better than some other successor characters like Rey from Star Wars.
Way more emotional send off for the goat than Crystal Skull. Wish we had new actors in the industry with a tenth of charisma and screen presence as Harrison Ford.
currently rewatching the series
jesus christ the second one has a perfect first 15-20 mins
the anything goes sequence and everything up until the plane crashing is like pitch perfect pacing, writing, direction, blockbuster fun
2nd is the best one of the series for sure. Rare times when sequel goes darker and is better.
For what it's worth, I didn't hate it. I know that may have sounded like I did... but I had an okay time. There is enjoyment in it even if it's just to see Harrison Ford back as a character that means so much to him.
I'm not gonna turn my nose up at it and act like it doesn't exist. I'll probably rewatch it again when it's out on digital/Blu-Ray or when I feel like doing an Indy marathon.
It just boils down to Mangold not being able to fill the shoes of Spielberg.
Let's be real, Modern Spielberg also made Ready Player One. I don't think a supposed Indy 5 directed by Spielberg would be better than this.

Ready Player One isn’t bad.
Movie was decent tbh, they way people were portraying it I was thinking it was about to be meh but it was enjoyable
This and Flash have to be the weirdest movie cases. Feels like I saw completely different movies than rest of the world the way they have been getting dunked on.
Ready Player One isn’t bad.
It isn't but feels too generic and lacks the old Spielberg feel his blockbusters used to have.

I still stand by my statement. There's just too much here that goes to waste that I think Spielberg would have known what to do with.
Okay dis biological warfare
This was great.
Action sequences were fantastic, some good jokes too.
Got a bit weird towards the end as if they didn’t know how to write it. But I liked it
decent movie
wish they took some other turns and made this a 100-110 minute flick
otherwise i enjoyed it

very true.....BUT
It feels like a diff version of an adventure to end off Indy's career/story
It feels like an Epilogue to the series after 4 main chapters/blockbusters.
I really enjoyed this movie and was checking out towards the middle but the end brought that classic indy fantasy element that I love about every movie.
Also, idk why but this movie makes me like Crystal Skull a bit more too..(always liked that movie)
we thought we were seeing oldman Jones in that one when Dial of Destiny is true oldman Jones.
all in all
7.5/10
My Ranking
-Raiders
-Crusade
-Crystal Skull
-Dial
-Temple

I was talking bout Ready Player One, I actually like this movie. Not perfect but enjoyable and a decent Old man Indy adventure.
