If there’s one thing I realized in light of the folks NOT giving Drake his flowers is that he’s transcended that community of artists he calls his peers. He calls them peers, sure, but we hear it when they speak of him and we see it when they don’t— whether they like it or not they’re not meeting Drake at eye-level

My peers are a talented group
But even if you take all their statistics and carry the two

It's so crazy how many of his peers watched this moment but will never say anything to him privately or publicly out of envy or jealousy or their own insecurities.

You'd see millions of posts if something bad had happened to him. Many posts about how great of an artist he is and how much his music has helped people etc it something bad happened to him but he gets honored with something this huge and most people go radio silent. It's really sad tbh.
