i had a friend who's currently 26 and was watching streamers and s***. i hated it. felt like he was trying to stay young and current. i'm too old for kai cenat.

If your friend wants to be Jim Jones when he grows up, let him flourish

    “underground rappers”
    “everyday we hear”
    “tearing the game up”

Just an insane amount of cap in the OP

This. Ever since @Melz left we haven’t heard about teenage rappers again

  • huh
More younger artists having the resources to showcase their talent = the entire genre being infantilized

  • Hades

? are we gonna act like kids haven't been trying to rap since forever? Inspired by what they saw outside back in the day, to now what's available to them on the internet?

nas made illmatic at 20, which includes some bars he made up when he was 16. you think he wasn't rapping as a kid/pre-teen?

Youngboy blew up at 15/16 so did Keef

it’s a double whammy because these young acts do need guidance on the industry just like any other profession but it’s cringe when you see them trying to live through the young kids and take all their lingo and s***

These underground rappers are getting younger and younger. Every day we hear about a new 12-year-old who is tearing the game up. Older rappers are also trying to sound like children by pitching their voice up. What is causing this phenomenon?

and youre getting older and older

    the way of life
