Hey fam, I received a notification today saying that someone from Russia was trying to log into my account.

I clicked on the "That isn't me" tab then proceeded to change my password etc.

My question is, was that an failed attempt? Or did someone actually compromise my account & was using it?

If so, are they able to get my IP & things of that nature?

Please let me know, never happened to me before.

This, and also don’t worry about IP too much. People always hype it as if it is something big/scary stuff, but in reality it often ain’t that interesting to have someones IP. Except if you have opened ports on that IP and are potentially vulnerable, but, don’t worry in general.
