For those of you who haven't taken the time to read through IG's new policy, which goes into effect on the 20th, I've highlighted a few things for you.
Slide 1) when you read this, it says IG can view and a***yze anything that is viewed through your camera. Everything is recorded and a***yzed.
Slide 2) IG now has the right to copy your address book, call log and SMS history
Slide 3) studies what you look at on your screen, for how long, while having access to your camera to diagnose facial reactions. This will help them mold propaganda that will be more accepted by society
Slide 5) collects every bit of information from whatever device you are using
Slide 6/7) collects every bit of info if everything you've ever searched, typed, watched, downloaded. Anything you've ever done in whatever device you use IG on and whatever device you've ever Bluetooth or wifi connected to
Slide 8) they can share this info with whoever they are affiliated with. (Remember who they are and their partners)
Slide 9) this one scares me. "Research for social good".. except we know what their idea of social good is. They use all that info for what fits into their concept of social good
Slide 10) this is the one that will make all of your favorite accounts in our community disappear. If someone's account has been disabled before. This term allows IG to disable it again, permanently.
