a big part of tiktok is absolutely about clout. maybe not the ig type of clout but a decent amount of people use trending sounds to get more likes and views

the layers below the very top and those trying to climb are about having fun tho i agree

i think this will fail bc you dont need an account to use tiktok which means easier access for kids. dance trends are generally the biggest videos on the app which means ig is losing out on the biggest audience
