Yes, when they’re doing their job correctly. No doubt about it. Man, if you’ve lived in the hood, you should literally be advocating for more police presence in the hood if anything because most of the problems in the hood happen due to complete lack of police presence. That’s why when ever neighborhoods get gentrified, police presence rises in said neighborhood and voila the crime rate goes down significantly.

I’m not going to say being lgbt is good or bad. It’s neither, but from a biological standpoint, it isn’t really “normal”. I’m all for lgbtq rights but don’t agree with introducing these topics to young children unless that’s something a specific parent wants to do to their child.

Isn’t normal? Homosexuality occurs commonly in several different species.

You definitely have lived your whole life in some comfy place with no experience of crime. Because that you consider what I said dumb shows how clueless you are. ANYBODY who has lived in crime infested neighborhood will say the exact same thing and that’s just the facts.

Can't speak for the hood but he's absolutely right about less police presence = more crime. Personally the city live near has basically abandoned prosecuting most criminals for what is deemed "petty crimes" and looks the other way. Since this happened our force has lost about 40% of its staff and there's business just packing up and moving to other nearby places because crime has spiked so much. This is also a tourist place too so eventually if nothing gets better the economy is going to nose dive. Look up the "Broken Windows Theory" there's some suggestion that this holds true.

Read the above post just made since it basically touches what you're saying. Also not talking about black cities or neighborhoods. This is about areas in general that lack any sort of oversight.

This is complete nonsense😂😂😂. You really believe this bs. Majority of black people in their neighborhoods aren’t committing crimes which makes your whole point garbage racist bs. Those who are committing crimes should be arrested because they f*** it up for everyone else in the neighborhood. They make it more dangerous for people to live, they contribute virtually nothing back to the community, influence younger generations to f*** up like them, and lower property values. Again which is why when those areas get gentrified, the police presence raises, the areas are deemed safer and the area becomes more affluent. I know exactly what I’m talking about because I’ve seen it first hand and anybody who truly grew up in a bad neighborhood can tell you the same thing

I address in another post. But in summary, crime is a big reason why home valuations in many black neighborhoods are suppressed. Police presence as well as relationship aren’t nearly as good in these neighborhoods as white neighborhoods. So in turn it means less safety and less wealth within the black community as the home is most people’s net worth. Hence why when an area is gentrified, there’s more police presence and the property values go up immensely.
