In the spirit of Ramadan (not Muslim) I began doing intermittent fasting to go along with my daily exercise and it has been nothing short of amazing so far for me. I only eat within a 8 hour window per day and I fast the other 16, drinking either water or black coffee only. I've lost 3 pounds in a week without changing what food I eat, only the timeframe. I feel way better when I do break my fast in the mornings and helps me establish discipline with myself and my relationship to food/snacking.
Any others currently doing so or have done it in the past? I plan on doing a 18:6 and OMAD fasts in the future.
I only eat 1 meal a day and regularly go 24+ hours without eating

Drink water plenty of water. My biggest problem was snacking for no reason when I'm not even hungry. You'll get used to it, trust.
I just aint got the discipline

The last 1-2 hours before breaking fast is the hardest but after you push through that it's cake.

got momentum started before i went up north, then i was up north, was out of the city, swimming in lake huron daily, and also just eating no sugar or anything really like that?. was also doing 1000+ situps/leg lifts/curl ups before bed with my daily evening stretching routine?
idk man it was pretty anomalous
rn im hovering around 190-200 lbs depending on hm im drinking liquor
ig the liquor is the biggest thing. empty calories cut those out
i didnt even excercise like that and still dont aside from consistent core excercises? idk man, its easier said than done, i think its partiallly genetics fr but i would say, cold water exposure for shock proteins paired w excercise, paired with good rest? idk its hard in the winter. i had no goal, it just happened, i got lucky
EDIT: METH
Any tips on how you managed that?
edit was a joke btw, all the rest is true

It gets easier too once you are used to it. Ive been doing it for a few years now I sometimes dont even notice Im hungry even if its 18-20 hours since my last meal. Tbh I was like that after a few months of doing it already. Also probably depends on what do you eat when its time
