Im not blaming that religion specifically, im blaming religion in general

I know that the majority of people that practice any religion are peaceful, but a lot of todays conflicts just wouldn’t exist if it werent for religion

Nope, wrong ....religion is at fault. Sharia law should not be practiced.

If the ayatollahs didnt get in power and spent the country's resources advertising their bullshit religion and backward mentality, then some poor villager wouldnt think that honor killing is alright.

The separation of state and church can occur while religion still exists

Honestly I feel like this is an easy argument to make but the reality is that religion has shaped so much human history and who knows where we’d be without it. It could be better or it could be worse but it is what it is. I think religion has brought about a lot of positive things but of course as the savages that we are as a human race we exploit these religions to benefit us personally even at the expense of others. This isn’t exclusive to religion though you know what I mean?

But in general yes I do agree that religious based conflicts are absurd and I dont know how they still occur in the 21st century.

Yes as it should. No cleric should ever be given a power position.

So you do agree that sharia law has no place in a country's legal code?

I guess religion is at fault then.. I mean you said church and state should be separate. Here we have a clear example of the contrary and the results are ....

Firstly none of these religions are actually from up above you know. It all started as a philosophy.

Sure when salman farsi took muhammad to mountains and taught him the zoroastrian theology, judaism and all those bible stories it was a positive thing. The Arab tribes were barbarians and practiced real f***ed up s*** like burrying their daughters alive. So yeah islam was awesome 1400 years ago for those people and religion was an effective tool to control people everywhere.

We live in the 21st century though. All religion does now is separate people and cause conflict. Do you really wanna associate with a person that actually believes that because their god is greater than yours they are superior to you?

Absolutely not I am fully opposed to Sharia law being imposed by a government or anyone for that matter. But all Muslims don’t practice Sharia. All Catholics don’t oppress homosexuals. The humans doing the actions are responsible. We’ve seen many examples of religions creating safe civil environments for people throughout history. I don’t think it’s something that needs to go away so much as absolute separation of church and state globally.

I don’t necessarily have a problem with it. It’s not so much that they think they’re better but that they are the ones on the right path where as I am not (according to their texts anyway)

I’m a fan of religion because it gives meaning to the many unknowns in life, especially when it comes to spirituality and the possibility of an afterlife.

I am in full agreement with you that no one no matter what religion should let their faith dictate how they’ll treat other human beings.

If they don’t get arrested or fined by the police some MAGA equivalent regime supporter would harass them instead.

It’s funny to see you continuously on MAGAs when they are probably the Americans most likely to share your revulsion for the regime
Yes I know it’s cuz they’re racists who like to bomb brown countries but still

    Use your brain.

Step 1 : Come to realization that the words in the scriptures do not come directly from the holly spirit above. There aint no hidden tablets and seer stones... etc etc.

Step 2: study history, look beyond the fiction, study the era and appreciate the prophets for what they were, for example jesus was a homosapien revolutionary from nazareth.

Step 3: Come up with logical explanations. E.g look at mohammad close disciples, salman farsi the scholar persian zoroastrian,,,, BOOM!! person most likely responsible for passing on the idealogy, basically they translated it to Arabic with some changes to suit their own agendas ofcourse ...

So you made the claim, stated it is a factual explanation.

All I asked for is empirical data that supports said claims

Instead you come back with more claims

Use your brain, go read about how facts work

Sorry mate im not a cleric or a pope. Those are the ones that believe it's possible to have actual empirical evidence of who said what thousands plus years ago. Go believe in your Noah's Ark story.

You don’t even have the bio of Salman al Farsi, radyatallanhu, correct guy. He was not a Zoroastrian theologian. Therefore that initial claim is already littered with false information. I could go on but it’s a waste of time.

May Allah guide you or otherwise silence you
