I just looked it up it, it says the widely accepted time frame for a millennial is 1981-1996. 1997 forward is gen z

You’re not genZ. GenZ don’t really remember 911 or a time before social media

Your gen is not about what u remember.

Baby Boomers: Baby boomers were born between 1944 and 1964. They're current between 55-75 years old (76 million in U.S.)
Gen X: Gen X was born between 1965 - 1979 and are currently between 40-54 years old (82 million people in U.S.)
Gen Y: Gen Y, or Millennials, were born between 1980 and 1994. They are currently between 25-39 years old.
    Gen Y.1 = 25-29 years old (31 million people in U.S.)
    Gen Y.2 = 29-39 (42 million people in U.S.)
Gen Z: Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and were born between 1995 and 2015. They are currently between 4-24 years old (nearly 74 million in U.S.)

It kinda is. It’s about what shapes a generation and what makes it different than the previous one otherwise there is 0 point in having generations

Nah 1995 isn't a zoomer honestly. These dates are setup by old ass people who really don't understand cultural imprints anything has on a group of people.

1992-1998 is essentially it's own mini generation, old enough to remember a time before internet, but still grew yup with it.

1999+ is really where Gen Z starts

If we're going to keep naming and separating generations, you'd think someone would come up with official dates instead of leaving so many gray areas up to interpretation

True, but it's generally accepted that those dates are the gray area of things.

I don't think someone who is 24-25 has anything in common with a 4 year old
