    Yea ik, I kinda prefer it that way tho. "2001" was indicative of the future and a reinvention of his sound and it really is something different than The Chronic, 2001 was Dre perfecting the beauty of minimalism, it was a new era.

    I look at 2001 as a worldwide version of the chronic

    Since all the 2001 samples were all foreign songs

    Edit : Dre’s sound at the time was dope as hell , he needs to bring that back trippy guitar he use to use

    The Chronic was considered a monster classic and a damn near movement when it dropped

    2001 was also a monster classic and movement , no artist has ever dropped 2 classics back to back , I’m talking legit classics , like if MJ dropped another album better than Thriller
