just caught bo jackson and damn there havent been this many strong projects in a year since 2013. was everyone who was gonna drop in 2020, and took a year off to further refine their s*** cuz they couldnt tour if they released? if ye and shmurda drop and we count the hollday wlr drop as part of the 2021 season it could really give 2013 a run, a year that i consider the best of the 21st century.

It was dry beginning of this year but the Vince Staples and Tyler albums sparked something. A few other projects too.

Kanye needs to drop, what we heard at the second show was amazing.

Would hope to see this fall/winter everyone step their game up. Drake is good at making music for the fall.

i think last year was great for more underground hip hop but this year both underground and mainstream hip hop has been strong imo

The House is Burning, Vince Staples, King’s Disease II, and Bo Jackson are the only elite rap albums so far imo.
