But they get less and less important with each passing year. No one in good faith can tell you that the Grammy's are still the measuring stick for acts in the music business.

I suppose the name will always give it some value, but the music business is trending away from awards, billboard sales, etc.

Once artist could track what was happening in real time w/Spotify, Apple Music, etc. sales and awards started becoming irrelevant.
