    Kingdom Come 2

    This.

It's basically what Jay meant to drop when he made KC except much better.

    Both

    Nah.

It has nothing in common with either series.

The Volume series was peak flashy doughboy rap from Jay.

And Blueprint series was peak commercial/crossover music from Jay.

4:44 is more so a much more refined version of KC.

4:44 is sadly its own thing. Best Jay album, his most cohesive and was in pocket front to back

  • Jun 20, 2025

is it called vol 4:44 or blueprint 4:44?

  • Jun 20, 2025

both/neither. hope hov still has one more in him but it’s a perfect album to go out on

The volume connection is in my lifetime/life and times. Kill Jay Z and 4:44 and Marcy Me have some connection to You Must Love Me and Where I’m From and There’s Been a Murder.

The blueprint connection is the soul samples, with No ID being a stand in for Ye if we’re being honest

I think you’re relating both series as just flashy commercial peaks but the heart of the lifetime series is also Jay on some personal s*** peeling back layers to him as a person, and the blueprint is about soul, song cry the early 4:44

Info see the kingdom come connection too tho for sure
