Me just trying to listen to the album and the ITH A CLATHIC skit comes on
I'd put it in the discussion. Feel like that it is worthy of more recognition and praise.
You should. His first 3 mixtapes are amazing, especially Return of 4Eva
Oh yea his first four or five projects were always in heavy rotation back in the day. Those are good listens front to back. Once he started droppin albums the length/filler (for lack of better term) made me not replay it a lot
Where did KRIT go wrong that made his career not pop off? He was right behind Kenny and Cole
Khaled had them 3 in a song too, Khaled too GOAT

Def Jam not knowing what to do with him.

I think about that all the time. If anything, I’d say he had the most potential to be commercial because his bangers were super duper catchy.
Def Jam not knowing what to do with him.
Live from the Underground and Cadilactica really f***ed him up

Really hard to sell suburban kids on an old school styled guy from Mississippi when Atlanta is taking over in sound and image

Cadillactica wasn't even a bad album though, if anything I feel like that album was the proper make up for Live from the Underground

I thought the album was dope 3 years ago but listening to it now I realized it's some mid
Need Krit wuz here on streaming
I could’ve sworn he said he was working on it but that was like a year ago so idk

It was a decent album but when it comes to Krit standards, it’s bottom tier tbh
It’s basically two albums. Side A for hype bangers and side B for introspection
Damn I remember both of the sides being similar in tone. I should relisten to it actually

2 different sounds for sure. You gotta relisten ASAP
Damn no return of 4eva or 4eva and a day on streaming either tf that about
For the OGs only
Big K.R.I.T. really that dude though. Not many can come back from a label situation like he did. He gonna be in the game forever and id much rather him be underrated in his legacy than overrated. His music stands out and is cut from a different cloth compared to the others of the new school golden era when they all had the same level of fame. He has had no legends backing him throughout his career (unlike Kendrick, Cole, Drake, Big Sean, and Wale) and still manages to put out great music and still sounds the most hungry out of all of them.
