5'9" is on the taller side of average.
I'm 6'3" and trust me, you will never 'feel' tall. I don't perceive shorter people as even being shorter than me unless I'm consciously thinking about it. But as soon as some 6'6" dude walks in, I feel and look like a manlet.
Height also doesn't get you p**** either. No girl is gonna f*** you just because you're tall. Not once has a girl even acknowledged my height, let alone threw it back on me because of it

I’m 5’8” so I’m slightly shorter than average American height but like deadass most of the time I don’t notice nor do I care. Control the s*** you can control and own the rest of your body. People gonna find that way more confident than just being tall. Being tall does help though don’t get me wrong
