Many countries on that continent were hit HARD by Covid-19, and China's big expensive infrastructure loan ain't going to pay for itself

Really hate this type of ignorant comment - because you haven’t seen any articles (have you actually been searching for them?) doesn’t mean it’s not being reported.

I’ve seen multiple articles in the mainstream left leaning news I read

Like I literally just googled “China African racism” and the first page contains articles on it by buzzfeed, abc, guardian, bbc, al jazeera

You’ve used different key words on a potentially different app / website? So how does that disprove anything I’m saying.

I’m telling you if you google the words I’ve used, on the first page alone you will see articles by multiple mainstream news outlets.

So your point that the media has not reported on this at all is just untrue

Ok, but again that doesn’t support your point.

All that means is that either
    a) the youtube algorithm isn’t pushing stuff to the front page
    b) those are not the right keywords to use to find what you’re looking for (is Nigerian too specific for example)
    c) this news is not making it onto YouTube specifically

Again, the actual websites of various media outlets have articles about this, so the fact that you can’t find it on YouTube doesn’t mean it’s not being reported, at most it just means it’s not on YouTube

The Youtube CEO decided to censor all news sources from YouTube that aren't mainstream.
Now the news media is allowed to steer the narrative now.

I think you’d need to look into it deeper before jumping to those conclusions.

But logically on the surface it doesn’t make sense - if a media outlet wanted to suppress or not report on a story, why would they publish it on their own website and possibly their print version (if they have one) but then hide it only from their YouTube account?

The only plausible reason would be that the overwhelming majority of people (I’m talking like 80%+) only engage with traditional media outlets on YouTube. This is definitely not the case, especially with older people

Ive seen news being surpressed for the whole decade, but anyways amma delete my posts,

I don't wanna put that energy towards oppressed people out there, probably making them feel even worse.
