I'm just constantly on the look out for something to do, something I can graft at and hopefully make some money from.

I'm in college in a degree I don't care for but can't realistically change out of, and I'm working part time in a supermarket - both are fine.. I mean it is what it is, but I'm just not content with this.

I've no idea what to do, every youtube video seems to be a scam, everything requires serious start up cash or some serious technical knowledge/skillset, or just a formal education.

I'm just sick of working for minimum wage, I'm sick of learning jack s*** about business in a damn business degree.

I just want to start something.

@op I’ve been in the same boat as you for a while, just constantly thinking about finding the perfect idea that’d make me rich and not doing s*** in the meanwhile

Then I just kinda started....doing s*** lol. I stopped thinking I needed 1 big thing and just started doin lil s*** and growin it up u feel me? Painting, cleaning, lil concerts, etc. while still working on finding this great idea (I think I got it) and learning about real estate. And I’m still struggling but I see a path out of the usual 3-4 years uni—> office jon path and I’m so happy for that

So that’s what I recommend u do bro. Drop the all or nothing mindset when it comes to business or ideas and find some lil spots in the entrepreneurial world where u can start s*** without a lot of prior knowledge or money and jus jump into it. Then do another thing, and another and another, etc. Eventually u gonna end up where u deserve to be.

I've always had a notion that I'd like welding..
I spent a few months working as an apprentice electrician and I was more interested in what the welders were doing.. Sadly there's no apprenticeship for that over here, our welders are plumbers and pipe fitters who do some welding..

Nearly like op....I think I could recommend learning to program...in 3 months you could know all the basics...and can give u the freedom you want to do anything..
I plan to start learning it soon..when I get money for a p.c..

But if u hate it, I still think it's the way to go, it teaches you to solve problems....Otherwise if you can't do it.., keep working in that supermarket and saving whatever you can, while sketching out ideas in your mind..map out where you want to be in 1, 2, 5 years..figure out what plans could lead to those possibilities and just start doing it...if what you decided on needs you to learn something, start learning it right now while still on your job...if it doesn't need learning, but doing,..then start doing it NOW!!!..maybe u could read a few short books to keep u in right state of mind too like the power of now by echart tools....but books are really not that necessary unless u feeling so down and need that kick
