The early 2000's were such a special time for hiphop. Can't think of a single rapper today with charisma like 50 or Cam, the mic presence of Luda, or the flow, emotion, and honesty that Em had in his prime. So many standout artists all doing their own thing and making memorable music at that point in time.

The beats and production stood out more too. NY had it's own sound, the south had it's own sound, Chicago had its own sound. Now everybody is jumping on the same kind of trap beats. Even Em is trying to rap on beats that sound like some Gunna s***.

I do appreciate that hiphop is more inclusive of LGBT now as the homophobic lyrics of the 2000's is disgusting to me, but hiphop is still really sexist regardless.

Singh used to be a decent lad back on KTT1 (other than being mad thirsty for any IG Thot), dunno why he turned into a bot now

one thing i realize from current music is that theres only a handful of projects that actually stick out to me like i can actually remmeber what they sound like after a month or so

most other s*** i like but it dont really have longevity for me

like its not bad but there aint nothing i be keeping on repeat except for a few new albums

music became more grid based and less bounce and variety
