This city have been running the culture both creatively and numbers-wise for over 20 years now with no end in sight. Even many popular non-ATL artists today still tap heavy into the city for their careers.

Is there any other city/region whose finally gonna rise to the challenge to shift the tide in hip hop anytime soon?

Chicago and NY are the regions that influence rap the most right now

ATL just has more artists due to the industry being accessible there

    Let's see....

Lil Baby has the best selling rap album of the decade.

Carti has the most influential rap album of the decade.

Future's still putting up big numbers.

    Don't think so.

That's basically the equivalent to where NY was in the early 2000s and we all know what happened right after that

  • Not if the rap game influencer trendsetter overlords finally let Lil Tony up on thru there

  • 996 2 face also krazy but he locked up

  • Iron Lion Zion

    50 Cent "Deeboed" NY.

    Nobody's going to "Deeboe" Atlanta.

Everyone’s tapped into Detroit now Veeze , Skilla Baby, Babyface Ray, Tay B, Peezy, Rio

  • It’s been over. Better question is “will traps run ever end” which can be credited to Atlanta
