seriously, how often do we see #1s that have this much artistic integrity. the song is so well written, it sounds so good, and we even get a whole ass beat switch. I've always f***ed w steve lacy but i never expected to see him on the charts at all, much less score a #1 smash hit. here we are tho, where one of the best doing it rn actually reaps the rewards of his labor.

Give it 5-10 years and we will be amazed at how a song this good and this artistically unadulterated was a genuine smash hit.
