I know you saw the video of that little girl singing along to Sorry from Lemonade a few years back. She was 7. And if you think Gen Z don't listen to her, the black Gen Z kids like the older black singers. They actually respect them. As Gen Z myself I've never really met a black peer who's actually called Beyonce, Usher, Brandy, or even Mariah Carey as "old".

The Lion King Gift album flopped. It's funny cuz she actually sang, like churchy sang too and no one supported it. She does songs like Formation (#10) and Savage (#1) that become big multi-platinum hits that people actually support, but people complain about her rapping and "not singing enough."

Formation wasnt really a hit tho it got carried by the fact we hadn't heard her for awhile and the Superbowl.

Savage was going number 1 anyway I don't really count remixes where you come that late too it as a hit.

She came after three memes and a billion tiktoks 8 year olds were doing the Savage dance Idk why Meg didn't keep it solo.

Savage was at 14, Bey did the remix and in a week it jumped 10 spots to 4. I might have been on it's way to the top ten, but Bey is the reason it got the push to the top spot.

It was a slow grower but it was going. She gave it a sudden burrs in exposure but I'd argue especially given her chart performances lately that song gave her more then she gave it.

We can agree to disagree about her impact on the song's performance, but at the end of the day she's an icon on her way to a legend and will forever be relevant for her contributions to the music industry.
