She had to cancel her show in my city (Pittsburgh) because she couldn’t sell out the stadium
Besides Abel, can any other Black artist sell out a stadium there with ease?
Even Rihanna had to cancel a bunch of dates for her Anti tour and that was just arenas.
Who tf performs in Pittsburgh tho
Taylor swift had like 70,000+ people at her show here recently
Maybe. But I think she could get her teams of producers and writers to make the most cynically commercial album ever and it would do gangbusters. She seems more interested in making these albums that are still incredibly commercial and radio-friendly, but do more of a balancing act with a deliberate artistic intent that maybe dampens her sales a bit.

Yo wtf lmfao
I was wrong.
White America really shows out for their golden eggs
this is an old thread. but I can't think of too many more relevant albums than RENAISSANCE in the past year.
I mean she is entering her legacy act phase now but 3 years ago? Not sure about that
It was obviously trending in that direction already

Midnights, SOS, and that Morgan Wallen album absolutely. Those are the only albums released since Renaissance that have spent more than one week atop the Billboard 200 (Renaissance didn't either)
SOS has at least twice the cultural relevance of Renaissance. Maybe more

Well it's been pretty dry for big releases since then

had to check date of OP her last joint changed the 'mainstream' game.

lmao. ok. but in response to the question posed in the thread title 3 years ago. it's a pretty relevant record no? she's on a pretty relevant tour promoting that music no?

Lemonade's second week sold about the same amount as Renaissance's first week. So yes I would say her musical relevance is trending downwards
like i didn't even really wanna everything in that reply lol
I mean you gotta double down atp
buddy said SOS had more cultural relevance then Renaissance.
It's true
More people are bumping and loving that record
This thread was an L
Massive W. I was right. They tried to bump the tread using her tour to dunk on me but touring is what legacy acts do best. Look who's on the top 10 grossing tours of the 2010s
1. Elton John
3. U2
4. Guns N Roses
6. Roger Waters
7. AC/DC
8. Metallica
9. Rolling Stones

bruh.. the whole damn industry is trending downwards. Honestly Nevermind didn’t do very well in comparison to Drake’s previous albums.. is he irrelevant musically also?
as said previously, Beyoncé had a #1 hit and the longest charting single of her career in this past year. but she’s musically irrelevant? like what?
you don’t realize how dumb you sound. just say you don’t like the lady and move on
