biggie or jay-z couldn't make anything like this

that spooky ass dark beat sounding like some dark temple

the lyrics and overall message of this song are amazing, powerful powerful stuff

The preacher want me buried, why? 'Cause I know he a liar
Have you ever seen a crackhead? That's eternal fire
Why you got these kids' minds thinkin' that they evil?
While the preacher bein' freaky, you say, "honor God's people"

Mama, tell me: am I wrong? Is God just another cop
Waitin' to beat my ass if I don't go pop?

Brothas gettin' shot, comin' back resurrected
It's just that raw s***, nigga, check it (that raw s***)

    this s*** made me go

was comparing stories of the bible and the overall human experience then to the modern-day and i can really see where he came from in comparing these two things

the crackhead line pretty much says hell is already here already in the form of addiction and struggle, it's like being eternally damned

him talking about god being a cop, is what i assume is god being perceived as an almighty authority figure who looks down on the sinners and punishes them like police look down on minorities and systematically oppress to this day

he was speakin' out his soul in this man and how he felt about religion in the world, it's beautiful yet eerie

arguably one of his most introspective tracks too

IMO, one of the best rap songs ever made, he was on another level with this s***, you can feel his pain

went away too soon, RIP pac man, a visionary
