When it comes to Punk Rap I don't see Carti music having nowhere near the kind of cultural impact bands like RATM have. Without even releasing music, they were trending multiple times on twitter during these past months because their music is still relevant to the current socio-political climate. Carti music is "punk" at its shallowest form. Even Kendrick Lamar is more substantially punk than Carti.
