in the US yeah but mainly bc once he came up he got a backlash from people in the streets. Making a hit song like Whoopty and then instantly getting called a fake gangster and dissed by random NY gang members will instantly make people see you as a fraud. He never really got to maximize the impact of his hit song because his US Fans never really believed he was authentic. He can blow up internationally because I don't think people really care in Latin American countries, Mexico, Argentina, etc. But in the United States he will always be the Whoopty guy who looks Mexican, Indian, and Arab all at the same time.
