I wouldn’t, because profound is being used to describe a quality of the hate: that there was a staggering amount of it. What you mean is not that there was a lot of hate, which there was, but that it had an effect on his career, which you posit did not occur

Baby never had a fanbase that was gonna cancel.

That cancel s*** only works when you have a certain kind of fans as your core base. And lbr most rappers don’t have that

Very prolific use of the word 🙏

I don't get stuff like this cus at the end of the day he still has a big fanbase that's gonna play his stuff no matter what. its a song with Lil Wayne too

All he did was ruin his festival run which hurts his pockets (and artists haven't properly toured in 1.5 years). Burned some bridges too that will take time to heal

  • Dababy saw a grown man cosplay as him and cried because he met him in the flesh how can you cancel him

People stopped rocking w Chingy when it came out he was messing with trans ladies

  • Sep 27, 2021

It only works when ur fanbase full of ppl that never felt the glancing power of a haymaker to the face before

    That sucks

  • Sep 27, 2021

It's #143 on Apple Music and #79 on Spotify. He has yet to score a real comeback since.

It definitely hurt his momentum short term. He can possibly bounce back in the longrun though. Mainly because his actual demographic was not the target of his comments. LGBT people were never listening to him to begin with aside from features...

How does every thread somehow always just have ppl relate back to Kanye

Tbh I hate how people run with this narrative when this s*** happened in like 2010 and his career was already OVER for years by then

    “Formulated”

Nah man f*** DaBaby’s homophonic ass and f*** you if you don’t care about it

Words matter. And as a fan of rap music, you should believe that twice as much as the regular person
