strategically he approached it all wrong. it doesn't really matter how good family matters was; he should have known what the public perception was going to be of him vs kendrick and trying to turn the beef back into some kind of gossip-driven story of adidon 2.0 was a bad move. instead of focusing on kendrick himself he basically focused on things happening around him. honestly it's part of why Push Ups was such a good diss as well, it was not only confident but more in line with what an effective diss actually is from him (catchy, generalized, direct)
