Then unfortunately I started listening to it again and I feel I am away from the right way. Pray for me to stop all things that make a wall between Allah and me.

Music is haram there’s no iktilaf or disagreements amongst the scholars on that matter. In the Quran their a ayah that refers to music as idle talk and there are substantial amount of Hadith that it’s not a matter of disagreement
According to the Prophet music makes hypocrisy grown the heart like water grows vegetation
There are hadiths the Prophet informed us that there will be people’s after him who permit music, the terrible thing about this when someone is engaged in sin and he’s aware he can make tawbah but when he’s convinced he’s in the right he falles deeper and deeper misguiding himself and others

You're allowed to sing, the use of instrumentation (specifically drums iirc) isn't allowed. That's why ISIS/Extremist groups have nasheeds with no music behind it. Just layered singing.
