I have no friends that are into horror movies or collecting blu rays so listening to podcasts let’s me hear other people’s thoughts and opinions on movies I like

Those that are like reading essays for you is kinda lame. I want to hear convos but these are also hit or miss

Thats how I started with the usual ones. Joe Budden n old Joe Rogan are what got me in the two joes lmao

But got off Budden once Raury n Mal left n stopped listening to Rogan in 2019 when he started becoming crazy & a pawn

Since then only structured n semi structured ones for the ones i regualry go back too

but yeah theres so much & ppl that think only the "just talking" ones exist idk what to tell them, but theres a podcast for pretty much everyone

also if op (or anyone else itt) trying to watch multiple of them at once like a tv then that hilarious, thats not how theyre structured its a once to twice thing every week to two but you shouldnt go backwards for the most like a serial show especially as a new watcher since a lot are topical in whatever subject

some podcasts are very meta tho and hard to get into due to the all the in jokes and referencing if youre not a long time watcher n probably isnt worth getting freshly invested do to the time sink & speedrun like Joe Budden podcast that is very self referential n in jokey

those can especially get hard to get into if theyre really deep in, n most "just talking" ones are like that & its EVEN HARDER is youre not fans/exposed to the personalities beforehand regarding that side of podcasting

I don’t think they’re draining at all. The field for it has become so over saturated with Borning people with a platform you just gotta find really good ones
