I felt this way pre-covid, to clear that up. I can't remember the last album I was anticipating and it delivered. I haven't heard any dope new sounds or styles, no raw/organic energy to tap into. Outside of Pop Smoke, no new artist has caught my ear. Even the veteran artists are meh.
